8 km from the center of the city of Rocha, by route 9, at km 205, is La Riviera, a small resort on the banks of Arroyo Rocha, with 15 or 20 blocks parallel to this water channel that flows into the Laguna de Rocha. Its small streets facing the stream are named after Rochense journalists and the other streets named after birds. The existing green space on the banks of the stream, called Parque de la Prensa, is a place where you can go camping and has tables and benches for various outdoor activities.
It is a very quiet, natural place, ideal for resting with family, boating or kayaking, and fishing.
