Access to the Puerto de los Botes is by route 9 before entering the city of Rocha, at kilometer 204,000. Fishing village on the banks of Arroyo de Rocha, whose narrow streets and ranchitos close to the road provide it a picturesque aspect. Arriving at the stream there is a small park of eucalyptus, with public restrooms and barbecue.
