El Desplayado beach is the northernmost of La Pedrera, a large curve that separates this seaside resort from Cabo Polonio. It is the ideal beach to enjoy as a family with children (you have to be careful on windy days), given that the beach El Barco is where young people and surfers usually gathered.
El Desplayado, with white and fine sands, has a rocky part at the beginning and extends as an open sea beach. During clear nights you can see the light of the Cabo Polonio Lighthouse that flashes every 12 seconds towards La Pedrera.
During summer, El Desplayado beach has a lifeguard service and free WiFi.
Next to this beach, Punta Rubia begins, a small beach next to La Pedrera.
